WHO RUNS THE UNION?
Members elected to the Executive are responsible for running the union.
The Executive Council hires staff, which currently consists of an Executive Director, 7 Labour Relations Officers, a Legal Counsellor, a Communications Officer, an Administrative Supervisor, and three Administrative Assistants to conduct the day-to-day business of the Association.
The Executive Council establishes policies and procedures to guide the staff while abiding by a constitution. The constitution can only be altered by membership at annual or specially called meetings.
