Overview

The Central Table Market Adjustment and Wage Standardization (MAWS) Committee is a joint employer-union committee formed following the ratification of the 2025 Central Table agreements. The 2024-28 MAWS fund totals $48 million ($16 million more than in 2023) and allocations have been earmarked over the life of the agreement to fulfill agreed-upon financial commitments.

During this most recent round of bargaining, our vision was to benefit the largest number of members through meaningful improvements to the collective agreement, while pushing for important market adjustments, and identifying innovative solutions to recruitment and retention challenges.

Our committee is striving to move all allied health occupational groups’ wages more in line with other jurisdictions, but there is still work to be done to ensure Manitoba’s healthcare system is able to recruit and retain.

Our office will be closed on Monday, October 13 for Thanksgiving.
