MAHCP’s ERS Workplace Safety & Health Committees will exist throughout ERS member-employing organizations and worksites across Manitoba. These committees provide opportunities for ERS members at the frontlines to enhance the work environment by promoting wellness initiatives, identifying and mitigating risks, and proposing solutions to safety and security challenges.
Committee goals are to:
- provide an open and transparent forum to discuss workplace issues among managers, workers, and union representatives
- promote collaboration between MAHCP’s ERS members, Labour Relations Officers, and Shared Health’s Human Resources staff
- build relationships and improve collaboration
- help MAHCP uncover or anticipate workplace concerns which may become bigger problems or require our attention.
