- MAHCP is Manitoba’s only union solely dedicated to representing the interests of allied health, and we are 7,000+ members strong! From occupational therapists to oral health professionals and from addictions counsellors to audiologists, it’s estimated that allied health makes up roughly 60% of the medical system’s workforce!
- Allied health professionals are essential to patient care in hospitals, clinics, laboratories, long-term care, and community settings, working in lockstep with physicians and nurses.
