If you’re pursuing a career in allied health, or you’re a child of a MAHCP member and you’re applying to post-secondary education, you may be eligible to apply to one of our scholarships.

MAHCP’s 2026 scholarship funds will open to applications soon.

In order to be eligible for a scholarship, the institution to which you’re applying must be recognized by the Government of Canada. If in doubt, please refer to the Government of Canada’s list of Designated Schools.

Recipients who have been selected to receive a MAHCP or Monique Wally Memorial Scholarship will be notified in early June 2026 and announced at MAHCP’s 2026 Biennial General Meeting. Recipients of the Continuing Education scholarships will be notified in August 2026 and announced at MAHCP’s 2026 BGM.

Manitoba Federation of Labour – Al and Alma Cerilli Young Activist Scholarship

The Manitoba Federation of Labour offers the Al and Alma Cerilli Young Activist Scholarship, an annual $1,000 scholarship for union activists who are 35 years or under and belong to an MFL affiliate union, to help them pursue post-secondary education. The application deadline for this year’s award is May 29, 2026.
