If you’re pursuing a career in allied health, or you’re a child of a MAHCP member and you’re applying to post-secondary education, you may be eligible to apply to one of our scholarships.

MAHCP’s 2026 scholarship funds will open to applications soon.
In order to be eligible for a scholarship, the institution to which you’re applying must be recognized by the Government of Canada. If in doubt, please refer to the Government of Canada’s list of Designated Schools.
Recipients who have been selected to receive a MAHCP or Monique Wally Memorial Scholarship will be notified in early June 2026 and announced at MAHCP’s 2026 Biennial General Meeting. Recipients of the Continuing Education scholarships will be notified in August 2026 and announced at MAHCP’s 2026 BGM.

Monique Wally Memorial Scholarships
The MAHCP Executive Council is pleased to award up to three (3) $500 scholarships annually to residents of Manitoba who are intending to enter their first year of study in an allied health profession. Students who are currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution (university, college, etc.) and who have been accepted into their first year of education in an allied health program are also eligible to apply.
MAHCP Scholarships
The MAHCP Executive Council is pleased to award up to twelve (12) $500 scholarships annually.
Scholarships are open to children of MAHCP Members in Good Standing. Applicants must be entering their first year of full-time post-secondary education (university, college, etc.) in any field of study.
NUPGE – 2026 Scholarships
As a component of NUPGE (National Union of Public and General Employees), MAHCP has access to benefits and programs for our members, including a range of additional scholarships (for both members and members’ children)!
Scholarships include:
- Brian Fudge Memorial Scholarship.
- Scholarship for 2SLGBTQIA+ Students.
- Scholarship for Black Students.

This year’s (2026–2027 academic year) deadline is Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 5pm (EDT).
Manitoba Federation of Labour – Al and Alma Cerilli Young Activist Scholarship
The Manitoba Federation of Labour offers the Al and Alma Cerilli Young Activist Scholarship, an annual $1,000 scholarship for union activists who are 35 years or under and belong to an MFL affiliate union, to help them pursue post-secondary education. The application deadline for this year’s award is May 29, 2026.
