NEW! Central Table Contract Interpretation Manual (CIM)
The Contract Interpretation Manual is a resource guide developed by MAHCP’s Labour Relations team, and intended to provide plain language article definitions for MAHCP-represented employees. Review the CIM for interpretation and application guidance for Central Table Collective Agreements and related Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs).
Usage tips:
- The manual is colour-coded by Employers Organization. The base Collective Agreement is Shared Health (in green front), and we have used blue for WCHREO, and purple for NHREO to indicate differences from the base language where there is a specific variation between Collective Agreements.
- Base language in bold represents new wording in the 2024-2028 Collective Agreements.
- Policies, procedures, and practices may change over time, and this manual is intended to supplement – not override – the Collective Agreement.
- The CIM is a living document, and interpretations may change based on grievance resolutions, agreements between the Employer(s) and the Association, and/or arbitration rulings.
The CIM will be updated quarterly in response to changes and feedback from members.
