Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) Week is held annually November 3rd to 9th. This is an event held across Canada to bring awareness and give recognition to those who work in the health care profession as Medical Radiation Technologists. These professions include X-ray, CT scanning, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Therapy.
If you or someone you know has ever had a diagnostic image, or has been treated for cancer using radiation, then you have met an MRT! During MRT week take notice of these health care professionals who are “The Very Image of Care”!
