Manitoba Association of Health Care Professionals is pleased to announce that the Multi-Union Market Adjustment Fund process has been completed. Professional groups were judged to be in need of an adjustment based on certain criteria including current level of compensation and recruitment and retention issues. A total of 1% of total payroll was to be dedicated to this fund. In total, the fund is valued at $3,500,000.
After an incredibly long series of presentations and meetings, the following groups (in no particular order) were determined to have met the eligibility criteria set out in the agreement:

It is important to note that there are many more occupational groups within MAHCP who have similar issues to the above groups and those members can rest assured that we will continue to bargain for more equitable compensation for all members.
