Welcome to MAHCP!
Membership in the Manitoba Association of Health Care Professionals means you’re part of the only union in the province solely dedicated to allied health. MAHCP is more than 7,000 members strong, representing allied health professional/technical and paramedical staff in distinct professions across hundreds of classifications, all across Manitoba.
Even if MAHCP is the union that represents you, we still need you to fill out the membership registration form to become an official MAHCP member. Registration forms can only be signed by employees working at sites MAHCP currently represents.
If your workplace/department/unit is not yet represented by a union, click the button below to learn more about how to join MAHCP.

We need your personal email address so we can communicate with you! Please be sure to fill out our New Member Registration form.
Your Dues
MAHCP dues are among the lowest of all Manitoba’s labour organizations. Members’ contribution of 1.25% of salary goes towards the defense of member rights in the workplace and the operations of our union.
History
MAHCP has more than 50 years of experience in representing and advocating for health-care professionals in Manitoba. We have an expert perspective and we work hard on behalf of our members.
MAHCP is unique when it comes to bargaining, as we have a process for members to submit a proposal for collective bargaining. MAHCP has lead bargaining on many fronts, including the Grievance Investigation Process and the portability of employees’ seniority and benefits between MAHCP employers across the province. MAHCP was also the first union to negotiate Maternity Leave top-up for full-time and part-time members.
Annual General Meeting
Each fall, MAHCP holds its Annual General Meeting, open to all Members in Good Standing and Associate members. More information will be sent to members closer to the date.
