MAHCP members resoundingly approved a new model for Executive Council representation at the Special Meeting of the membership held on January 26, 2021. This restructuring will provide more clear, consistent and accountable representation for MAHCP members. Executive Council Districts are now based on geography rather than professions.
Our membership has grown and changed significantly in the past two years, and Executive Council is changing with it. MAHCP needs a Council that better reflects our diverse, province-wide membership. In addition to the role of Vice-President, there are now 16 new Executive Council seats to be filled this year. The seats have staggered term lengths of one to two years.
