Members of the Manitoba Association of Health Care Professionals employed at the Aboriginal Health & Wellness Centre ratified a new collective agreement during a well-attended meeting on June 17, 2015.

The four-year deal, which is retroactive to April 1, 2014, and expires on March 31, 2018, contains general salary increases of two per cent (2%) in each year of the contract and an agreement to review the feasibility of implementation of a weekly indemnity (short-term disability) plan.

A major win in this new collective agreement is the reduction of two separate pay scales for staff to one pay scale.

MAHCP thanks the bargaining committee for their hard work!
