This message is to inform our members at DSM about an issue that has come to our attention.
Diagnostic Services Manitoba has informed MAHCP that any former employees (resignation, retirement, etc.) who wish to collect any retroactive must apply to DSM by July 18, 2016.
MAHCP is strongly opposing this position and will be grieving this policy should DSM continue with this arbitrary deadline.
In the meantime, please take a moment to contact any of your former colleagues who have left DSM since April 1, 2014, and encourage them to direct their request for retro payment to DSM before July 15, 2016, if at all possible. This way, those people will avoid any further delays due to the potential grievance process.
