Open Letter to Premier Wab Kinew, Minister of Finance Adrien Sala and the Government of Manitoba:  Invest in Manitoba and reverse the tax cuts

Last month an open letter was sent to Premier Kinew imploring his government to uphold its election promises to address years of cuts to public services. So far, dozens of concerned, community-minded organizations including MAHCP, and hundreds of individuals, have signed the letter.

Research by EngageMB, the Province of Manitoba’s online listening and surveying platform, consistently finds that fixing health care and education are the top priorities for Manitoba, and tax cuts are the lowest. On behalf of MAHCP’s more than 7,000 allied health professionals who are facing chronic understaffing, overwork, and increasing frustration and exhaustion, we’re calling on the government to invest in health care and support a healthy future for all Manitobans.
