The Manitoba Association of Health Care Professionals is pleased to announce that its MAHCP Open House Tour is headed to Northern Manitoba this week, March 5 to 7, 2019.
These Open House stops are open to our MAHCP members and – as will be the case for all meetings scheduled for this tour – to all Provincial health care employees in Professional/Technical/Paramedical who would like to learn more about MAHCP.
In attendance will be MAHCP President Bob Moroz, Vice-President Tanya Burnside, and MAHCP staff to answer your questions.
Here’s a list of the open houses:
Thompson: Tuesday, March 5, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.,
at the USW Local 6166, 19 Elizabeth Drive
Flin Flon: Wednesday, March 6, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.,
at the Victoria Inn, Northern Room
The Pas: Thursday, March 7, from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Kin Center,
Golden Agers Room, 324 Ross Ave(use back entrance)
A light meal and refreshments will be available, as well as MAHCP materials and gear.
For MAHCP members in Snow Lake, there’s a lunch meeting with President Moroz and Vice President Burnside on Wednesday, March 6, at the Diamond Willow Inn from 12-1 p.m. MAHCP will provide lunch off the menu for anyone who can make this meeting. Please RSVP by emailing Executive Liaison Tim Smith at tim@mahcp.ca by 6 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) if you can attend.
There are plans to visit more communities all over Manitoba in the coming weeks. More dates will be announced on our www.mahcp.ca website.
