Effective, December 11, 2025, the Shared Health Compensation & Benefits team informed MAHCP that all three Service Delivery Organizations (WCHREO, NHREO, SHEO) have all cascaded the new six-step standardized scales to MAHCP members affected by the compression process. This standardized structure will enable some members to reach top of scale sooner, and the increases to the bottom steps will strengthen recruitment and retention.
Reminder that wages have not been negatively affected by the change, and those with fewer than six steps will not be touched. Members should have received:
- A link to a PDF spreadsheet (we’ve divided them up by EO below for convenience)
- A memo from the Compensation & Benefits team detailing how to find your new wage.
We have not yet received any implementation timelines from employers related to new scales and retropay (in effect as of April 1, 2025), but we will update this page should we learn any details.
