Gurminder says he was inspired by his pharmacist brother-in-law to pursue a career in pharmacy, and followed in his professional footsteps to make a difference for Manitoba patients.
“Everything’s better when pharmacy’s involved,” says Gurminder. “I think many Manitobans would be surprised by how much time pharmacists spend consulting with patients in hospitals. We aren’t just drug dispensers, and we’re not just slapping labels on pill bottles. We are a clinical knowledge base that is trusted and relied upon by others.”
