As a proud sponsor, MAHCP is encouraging all members to come out and enjoy the Solidarity Forever Community Concert at Memorial Park this Saturday!

There will also be a Food Court, which is being sponsored by MAHCP, and a Family area.

The Solidarity Forever concert is one of several events being organized by the Manitoba Federation of Labour’s strike commemoration committee for the 100th anniversary of the 1919 Winnipeg General Strike, during which an estimated 30,000 workers in our city walked off the job to protest for better working and living conditions.
On Saturday, June 8, there will be another free concert, this one starting at 2 p.m. and called Rise Up 100: Songs for the Next Century, at The Cube in Old Market Square with major headliners Ani DiFranco, Bruce Cockburn, John K Samson, Leonard Sumner, Sweet Alibi and Two Crows for Comfort.
