The next set of General Membership meetings with MAHCP President Bob Moroz have been scheduled, and we hope to see as many members as possible in attendance!
First off, a big THANK YOU to the dozens of members that attended the meetings at Concordia Hospital and Victoria General Hospital. Your questions and suggestions have been noted and we’re doing all we can to get answers for you.
MAHCP planned these General Membership meetings with President Moroz to discuss the WRHA’s recent announcement of ER closures at three Winnipeg hospitals and the shutdown of the Urgent Care Clinic at Misericordia, as well as answer any questions members may have about other issues affecting their livelihoods.
As we have mentioned before, we may plan more dates for meetings with members, so if you do not see your workplace in the list below, it does not mean that you won’t be getting a meeting.
MAHCP members who cannot attend their site-specific General Membership meeting with President Moroz are welcome to attend a meeting at another site.
This means that if you can’t make the meeting scheduled for your site, but you could make it to one of the meetings at another hospital or the one to be held at the MAHCP office (101-1500 Notre Dame Ave.), you’re more than welcome to do so.
This is also the case for our members at the different DSM facilities, please feel free to attend any of the meetings scheduled below.
