MAHCP President’s Tour heads north this week

MAHCP members in Northern Manitoba, President Bob Moroz is on his way to see you!

President Moroz will be hosting the official meetings in Thompson, Flin Flon and The Pas on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday respectively. Full information below:

• Thompson – June 20, 2017 – United Steel Workers Local 6166, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
• Flin Flon – June 21, 2017 – Victoria Inn, 3 pm to 5 pm
• The Pas – June 22, 2017 – Kikiwak Inn, 3 pm to 5 pm

Among the topics that will be discussed at these meetings are:

1. Upcoming bargaining
2. Recent provincial legislation affecting all public-sector workers and specifically the health-care sector (Bill 28 and Bill 29)
3. And any local issues that members would like to bring forward

For our members at the different DSM facilities in the North, you are most welcome to attend the meeting that is most convenient for you.

We’d love to see as many MAHCP members as possible during the Northern Tour.
