With the MAHCP’s first electronic strike vote wrapped up – it ended successfully on Sept. 28, 2015 – President Bob Moroz and Executive Director Lee Manning are travelling north today for the first of five strike vote meetings.
The first meeting is tonight in Thompson, with another in Flin Flon tomorrow and The Pas on Friday. The in-person meetings in Winnipeg take place this coming Monday and Tuesday.
For those who did not take part in the E-vote, these meetings are your chance to cast ballots. They are also open for you to ask Bob and Lee questions about bargaining, so those who did vote online are also welcome to attend!
Here are the details for the strike vote meetings:
- September 30 – Days Inn, Thompson, 5-9pm
- October 1 – Victoria Inn, Flin Flon, 5-9pm
- October 2 – Kikiwak Inn, The Pas, 3-9pm
- October 5 – Canad Inns HSC, Winnipeg, 7am-7pm
- October 6 – Saints Peter and Paul Parish Centre, 400 Marion St., Winnipeg, 7am-6pm
