The deadline for the MAHCP Scholarships and the Monique Wally Memorial Scholarships is coming up quickly.
Earlier this year, MAHCP’s Communications Committee decided in favour of having the same deadline each year: that of July 15.
This was done to give students enough time to gather their documents and write their essay, as well as permitting more time for the committee to process the applications.
Please note: for 2018, the date of July 15 will fall on a Sunday, so completed applications (with all pertinent documents) will be accepted until 1600 hrs (4 p.m.) on the first Monday following, which is July 16.
There are eight (8) $400 MAHCP scholarships awarded annually. Scholarships are open to children of MAHCP members entering first year of full-time post-secondary education, i.e. university or community college.
There are three (3) $400 Monique Wally Memorial Scholarships to be awarded annually to residents of Manitoba who are intending to enter their first year of an Allied Health Profession

Additionally, the MAHCP Communications Committee has determined that students can apply for both the MAHCP Scholarship and the Monique Wally Scholarship if they are going straight into an Allied Health profession in their first year of post-secondary study.
